Biography
Phaedra first encountered acupuncture while studying photography on a Fulbright Scholarship in Mexico. Through her first hand experience of receiving treatment, she was astounded at the wisdom and efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She began the transition from the visual arts to the healing arts in 2001.
Phaedra worked as a Natural Health Adviser in London for five years and has extensive knowledge of Naturopathic medicine. She studied Acupuncture at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. On completion of her course, she attended the prestigious Chengdu University of TCM in South West China for post graduate study. She is a registered Member
of the British Acupuncture Council.
Since her childhood
years spent in the Bahamas and Miami, to her degree studies in
photography at the Rhode Island School of Design, she now lives and
practices in East London. She is married and has a daughter.
